Gait Kinetics at Walking and Running Speed

Gait Treadmill™ Treadmill Gait Assessment & Training System

A gait-analysis treadmill that integrates pressure distribution, force plate, treadmill and body-weight support in one — a world first — capturing multi-dimensional kinetics and kinematics during walking or running, with force-feedback speed adaptation. It integrates with motion capture and surface EMG to characterize a subject's gait in full. The effective area is about 1400 × 560 mm, with 0–12° adjustable incline and 0–18 km/h adjustable speed plus force-feedback adaptation; it synchronizes with third-party kinematic, kinetic and physiological systems for research analysis.

Core Capabilities

The capability points below are taken from the official product material for this product.

  • Four-in-one

    pressure distribution + 6-axis force plate + treadmill + body-weight support

  • 0–18 km/h adjustable speed with force-feedback adaptation

    0–12° adjustable incline

  • Multi-device integration and normalization of kinetics and kinematics during walking or running for complete gait and mechanical analysis

  • Real-time ground-reaction-force recording delivers 3D mechanical metrics for gait assessment and training

Typical Workflow

A generic research-lab sequence; mounting, synchronization and export details follow the official technical file.

  1. Set up and calibrate

Position the equipment for the protocol and complete zeroing or calibration before the first trial.

  2. Acquire in sync

Record with third-party kinematic, kinetic or physiological systems on one time base where the protocol requires it.

  3. Process and analyze

Review trials in the analysis software and derive the metrics your study defines.

  4. Export and publish

Export raw or processed data for statistics, modelling and publication.
